Worlds first transparent mobile display
We have seen them in sci-fi movies and always dreamt of having such phones. That's not a dream any more as Taiwanese company 'Polytron Technologies' has created worlds first transparent mobile phone. it's the complete transparent full touch screen phone except the circuit, microSD card, camera assembly and the battery.
This transparent phone is full touchscreen and yet to have any operating system in it. The technology used for creating this transparent marvel is polyvision privacy Glass. This phone uses a very small microscopic wires which have been fixed inside the glass and they are barely visible.
Have you seen glass strips present at the bottom of Sony Xperia p ? those glass strips are transparent as well as they have sensors. This display is a bigger version of what we have seen in Xperia P and Xperia Z.
Polytron's polyvision privacy Glass surprises
Polytron technologies has plan to come out with first transparent smart phone by the end of 2013. It would be very interesting to see if the phone is getting launched with android operating system. company is looking forward to replace some of the parts with transparent ones.For the time being it's quite difficult to make It 100% transparent but they might replace some of the part with transparent camera unit and a partially transparent MicroSD card.
