It has been just a week since Microsoft launched their first ever windows Tablet 'Surface'. The Tablet really looked awesome in its first look & Microsoft had promised to make Surface cheaper & to priced competently against iPad 3. But yesterday's price announced for Windows Surface tab makes it one of the costliest tablets in the market.

Windows 8 Surface tablet will be launched in 2 versions. The Windows RT OS option will be priced $ 599 where as windows 8 OS with Intel will cost you around $ 999. 

Windows 8 Surface - Over Priced ?

Surface is not a first windows Tab launched in market, there are many tabs introduced by ASUS, MSI which are based on Windows 8 OS. Recently launched ASUS Taichi & MSI S20 are hybrids which are great looker & available at reasonable price.

Apple iPad 3 - Cheaper than surface

When ipad 2 costs $399 & all new iPad 3 priced at $499, it is really confusing to understand Microsoft's claims to call it cheaper than iPad 3. Now it is upto buyers to decide if they are going to buy legendry ipad 3 in $ 499 or New Windows Surface at $999.

Verdict

After announcing prices, Surface is not a tempting gadget anymore. We were really impressed by Surface's concept & look-feel & was expecting to be priced around 499 $. Let us see how this strategy works out for Microsoft & how people respond to surface..
