How to Upgrade or Update Samsung Galaxy S2 to ICS:Ice Cream Sandwich
Recently Google released source code of ICS. After releasing source code for android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich, small group of hackers have successfully added ICS to Samsung Galaxy SII. Galaxy II topped the list of best selling phone in year 2011 with over 45 million units sold all over the world.Many of the Galaxy 2 users are eager to get the ICS update for the the galaxy S2 but they will have to wait for more 2-3 months to get ICS on the Galaxy S2 Officially.
Samsung is planning to launch galaxy 3 III in 2012 which will definitely come with ICS but for the current Galaxy S2 users they will provide ICS update very soon.
Samsung had said that Android 4.0 would be hitting Galaxy S2 handsets today, but the update has now been delayed .According to Vodafone, its Galaxy S2 Ice Cream Sandwich update is still waiting approval from Samsung, with the manufacturer taking its time with its internal quality assurance process.
ICS looks too good on SUPER AMOLED display of Galaxy S2. ICS is designed in such a way that it will not need button to operate.
