The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 has a display of 5.5 inch. The DROID DNA's screen is of smaller size – 5 inch.The HTC DROID DNA's screen has slightly more sharpness than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s screen. It is 441 ppi & has display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. On the other side, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 s sharpness is around 267 ppi with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.Both the smart phones have display screen protected by the corning Gorilla glass.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2  has the Android OS with version v4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). Its competitor,HTC DROID DNA has the Android OS with version v4.1 (Jelly Bean). This Operating System is up-gradable to v4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Memory

The Galaxy Note 2 houses 16/32/64 GB storage internal space and 2 GB RAM.The HTC DROID DNA equipped with 2 GB RAM & contains 16 GB (11 GB user available) storage.Samsung Galaxy Note 2's memory is expandable up to 64 GB using microSD and one of the disadvantages of the DROID DNA is, there is no provision to add microSD card.

Camera

Both the smart phones have 8 mega pixel camera as a primary camera.Both the smart phones have auto focus as well as LED flash which comes handy when you need to take pictures in low light. Samsung Galaxy note 2 comes with 1.9 megapixel of secondary camera where as droid DNA has 2.1 megapixel of secondary shooter.

HTC rolled out its new 5 inch android smart phone - HTC droid DNA. HTC droid DNA has a large display size like its name. The phone has been announced in a press release conducted in New York. The smart phone is powered by the 1.5 GHz quad core processor and comes with 5 inch HD 1083 super LCD three screen. The screen is well protected by the gorilla Glass 2.

Seems like HTC is going compete with other smartlets in this segment. The Samsung Galaxy note  has been ruling this segment from more than two years. 3 million Note 2  devices were sold in the first month of its launching.
