Nokia Lumia 610 - Cons & disadvantages -Wake up call for Nokia
Nokia Lumia 610: Segment Winner or just old wine in a new bottle ?Nokia is desperately trying to get its market share back. Nokia has started marketing its product aggressively with the launch of Lumia Series in 2011, which are first windows OS phones from Nokia. It is still unknown why Nokia has not launched windows os in Nokia 808 Pureview, but seems like they don't want to take risk on phone which has 41MPx & can be Nokia's next big thing. On paper, this union looks very strong but will it really make any impact on android's market share ?
As per the 2011 statistics, 51% of the smart phones are Android phones. Windows OS looks promising but it still has long way to go.
After Nokia Lumia 800 & Lumia 710, Nokia next windows phone is Lumia 610. Although Lumia 800 caught tech guru's attention, there are still basic things which nokia & windows need to worry about.
Nokia 710 was criticized a lot & failed miserably when it is compared with Samsung omnia w. But seems like Nokia Guys haven't learned yet & there are still some basic flaws which are keeping buyers away from nokia Lumia series & specifically lumia 610.

Windows App Store
The basic problem with windows phone is APP store. When Apple has 4 million application in its store & android has half a million apps, Windows Phones have just 65,000 applications.
Battery backup
Lumia series has been criticized a lot for its battery backup & still Lumia 610 has just 1300Amp battery which might not sustain for full day if there is lot of surfing & music played on phone.No front Camera

Alarm clock doesn't work if cell phone is switched off.- Touch screen doesn't work while ending calls.
- No xvid or divx video support
- Silver light & flash is not supported
